If yous follow along on Instagram you know that we recently visited Kalahari H2o Park & Resort. And let me tell you – it was SO. MUCH. FUN.
This was our first trip to the resort so we had no clue what to expect. I ever think information technology's difficult to plan your schedule and activities at a large resort similar Kalahari when information technology'due south your first visit.

The Splash Down Safari Area is the showtime one you lot'll come across when you walk in. It's a big climb-atop blazon of gear up-up with slides and lots of stairs, and so it's meliorate for kids that are a petty bit older.
Our first day nosotros spent the bulk of our time here. If you're going on a weekend I suggest getting to the water park as early as possible and so that you lot tin snag a table before they're all gone.
We got a reservation at Sortino's Italian Restaurant for dinner. We stayed at the resort on a Friday night and made the reservation that day. I'1000 not sure if nosotros got lucky or if it'due south always piece of cake to make it, merely I recommend trying it if yous want to do a sit-down dinner.

Nosotros ate at the Ivory Coast Eatery twice because the menu has something for everyone. They have great child's options but they as well accept burgers, salads, steaks, etc.
he Marrakesh Market is great if yous want food to go (pre-made sandwiches, etc.) but there are also tables all effectually the lobby expanse where yous could also sit down. The Marrakesh Market has Uncrustables and tons of snacks, etc. for picky eaters!
The Ivory coast Restaurant and Marrakesh Market are both conveniently located in the hotel lobby.
At that place's also a Starbucks and an ice cream/sweets shop correct in the lobby! I think the Starbucks might be new considering a friend of mine who went a few years prior to u.s.a. said she doesn't call up that being at that place. Either way, I was a happy camper 🙂
The kids as well had a great time at the Adventurer's Club. The club has many daily (non-h2o park related) scheduled activities. Our kids didn't do them solely considering we didn't want to be on a schedule just they enjoyed the activities that y'all could do at your leisure.
They painted their own piggy banks, busy "squishies" and played a few minor games like a bean bag and ring toss. The Adventurer'southward Club is located on the arcade/h2o park level and you can pick up a schedule right at the entrance.
The kids too had a ton of fun at the arcade and loved the toy store where they got to use their tickets when they were washed.
Our kids were so excited they were hopping all over the room so information technology was hard to get some great pics LOL. We stayed in the African Queen Suite and it was way more than enough for the 5 of us.
The suite had ii bedrooms, 1 king bed, two queen beds, 1 queen pull-out sofa, two full baths, TVs, and a fireplace. It was swell to have so much room!
In that location were a lot of things to exercise that we just didn't because of the ages of our kids similar the Anaconda, Barreling Birdie, Flow Rider, escape rooms, bowling alley, etc.
Our trip was in the winter simply if you're visiting in the warmer months they as well have an outdoor water park as well as mini-golf game, zip lines, ropes courses, etc.

Does Kalahari offering day passes?
Yes. Y'all do not have to stay at the resort to utilise the water park. If yous wish to visit the water park without a resort reservation, you tin purchase a 24-hour interval laissez passer for $49.
Does Kalahari take pack and plays or cribs?
Yes, pack n plays are available at Kalahari. However, when we went they didn't have pack n play sheets. I recommend bringing a sheet if you accept one specifically fit for a pack n play.
What are the Kalahari indoor h2o park hours?
The indoor water park opens at 10 am every day. It closes at nine pm Sun through Thursday and closes at ten pm on Friday and Saturday.
Is Kalahari Resort All-inclusive?
The Kalahari H2o Park & Resort in Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania is non all-inclusive. The water park is included for each guest staying in a room, but all food and activities are your responsibility to pay for.
Does Kalahari have an outdoor water park?
Kalahari Water Park & Resort in Ponoco Mountains DOES have an outdoor water park. Unfortunately, we didn't get to feel it considering nosotros went in February.
The outdoor water park has minor and big slides similar indoor equally well as bungalows and an outdoor puddle.
